This workshop builds upon the knowledge of electricity-based financial products gained by attending MIF-ERM, but focuses on the financial risk perspectives of electricity markets, particularly volume risk, how these can be quantified and the art of building portfolios to manage them. It will also discuss the finer points of governance integration with risk management.

Who is it for?

This workshop will be of particular value and relevance if you are new to a role that exposes you to financial markets in electricity or if you work for a spot market participant in a senior technical or operational role but would like to build a better understanding of how this market operates.
